LED Money Saving Method

Many states are offering very aggressive rebate options for commercial installations of LED lighting. When installing our LED lights in a state that is offering a rebate program we will provide you an analysis of the rebate savings and fill out any paperwork necessary.

Based upon our analysis, after one year, an LED bulb usually costs less to operate than an incandescent or halogen bulb, assuming the bulb is used 16 hours per day, electricity costs $0.160/kwh and labor costs $5 per bulb. This alone represents an incredible investment opportunity.

However, some of these rebates equal 50% or more of the cost of LED installation. We recently installed approximately 100 LED lights in a high end commercial buildings to replace CFL. Based on the reduced wattage of our LED lights the customer was initially expecting a 3 year payback. Subsequently, the state utility contributed a substantial rebate pushing the customers return on investment to just shy of eighteen months.

Many states are starting to see how great an impact LEDs can have on reducing electricity usage, and in turn, are providing rebate programs to promote the use of LED lights in commercial applications. We understand that wading through the technical and bureaucratic process of obtaining this rebate money can be time consuming and costly.
